World Longest Straight Road

 The world’s longest, and possibly most boring straight road, is in Saudi Arabia!

This is Highway 10. Located in Saudi Arabia, it is the world’s longest straight road, measuring in at 250–256km in distance. According to Google Maps, it will take between an hour and 57 minutes or two hours and four minutes to travel down this straight road.[1]

Furthermore, it is also probably one of the most boring road out there as it only cuts through desert, desert, and even more desert! Though, if you like the desert and sand dunes, maybe, this road won’t be as boring for you!

Ophidiophobia is one of the most common phobias in the world, and studies have shown that most primates are genetically wired to detect snakes rapidly. Prehistory is writhing with snakes, but not just little ones - some were true giants. Everyone talks about  Titanoboa cerrejonensis.  I tend to refrain from writing about famous, popular fossil taxa, but it would be wrong to exclude it from this answer.
