Best Batsman in Pakistani Cricket History

BEST BATSMAN IN PAKISTAN CRICKET HISTORY

Cricket flows in the blood-stream of every pakistan. Here are the Best Batsman in Pakistani cricket team

Javed Miandad
Best batsman produced by Pakistan who was a genuine match winner and scored all around the world against all kinds of bowling attacks. He had impenetrable batting technique backed with street fighter attitude that made him fierce adversary. His never die spirit and art to get under the skin of opponents especially Englishmen & Australians when we were still fresh from colonial hangover. He played many great innings and produced the ultimate performance in World Cup 1992. Youngest (age 19) player to score a test double hundred. He holds the record of most number of consecutive ODI 50s (9).
Younus Khan
Very similar to Javed, Younus Khan also a fighter and kept the charisma of a Pathan who never surrenders. His test record is exceptional and scored runs all over the world. Despite all the controversies and family tragedies he never gave up. His track record against India is impeccable and filled with magnificent match winning knocks. He is only Pakistani batsman to score 10,000 runs in test cricket and most number of test hundreds (34). He scored consecutive 3 hundreds against Australia and only batsman to score 5 test hundreds in the 4th inning.
Inzamam ul Haq
Most naturally talented batsman produced by Pakistan who was great player of fast & spin bowling. His burst in 1992 WC is still fresh in the minds of a whole generation. He played the role of backbone of Pakistan for a decade which in a way hampered his free stroke playing. I still believe he could have achieved far more had he decided to bat at no.3. He took too much responsibility and that impacted his milestone performances. Highest ODI runs getter for Pakistan despite batting low down the order. He holds the record for most ODI runs (11,783) for Pakistan and also only Pakistani batsman to have 20,000 international runs.
Zaheer Abbas
Known as “The Asian Bradman” due to his 108 first class centuries. He was a flawless timer of the cricket ball and very elegant especially the cover drive. He became the first batsman to hit 3 consecutive centuries in ODI cricket and finished his ODI career with batting average of 47.62
His overseas record is still a tall ask for Pakistani batsmen to replicate.
Mohammad Yousuf
One of best timers of cricket ball from Pakistan following the tradition of Zaheer Abbas. He was a treat to watch in both limited overs and test cricket. His cover drive and inside out over cover were treat to watch. Batting with high back lift while made him extra elegant. He broke Viv Richards record of most test runs (1,788 runs) in a calendar year. He has scored test hundreds against every test playing side and also at their home grounds.
